It is a hard time for weblogging photographers apparently..

They defaced one of my logging buddies DSLR weblogs. What a suckers.. go deface n-a-z-i, j-i-h-a-d or any other extreme website nobody is waiting for.

He has the 100-400 making it a 400 x 1.4 converter x 1.6 x 6.3mp = 5600 (this number is just a non science calculation of lenses, converters, correction factor of CMOS size and megapixels..)

That is more than the 3000 I could produce.. I would add a bit of USM for the 3D effect:

This guy just picked up his 20D (and got 100 euro's of at the Mediamarkt) and was such a happy camper that he sent me his own clapperdy clap sound of his bursting 5Fps 20D.. Hear for yourself (400 Kb mpg)..

60.000... Geeh.. Need to go do some marketing..

I was really happy with my first 1000 pageviews and still am with every single pageview. But as more people come, targets get set higher.

I did some trend calculation and I think that this year will end with approx. 60.000 Pageviews. My website starts to stabilize so I need to think of methods of more growth. It is a challenge to keep growth and not stabilize. (My bankaccount will judge differently: Projected bandwidth usage this month: 3.01424 gigabytes (100.47% - correction, it's 117.35% already...) )

So I hope I can still do a 20D review soon and even better, I should get a 1Ds Mark II to testdrive.

The "überklasse"...

I know right now that my first comment is that he thinks he is not "überklasse", but Harm has opened his own typepad log. He is a professional photographer from Rotterdam and has the classy studio you always wanted at the docks of the Rotterdam harbour. He takes pictures with, for me a magic box, but he calls it his Sinar.

He also owns a 1Ds which he let me testdrive for a day. So take a look, it's under development but let's put some pressure on him to show his very tasty foodpictures and other portfolio!

Wow.. that's different...

Ok, I know.. I just got totally fed up with the current burgundy fonttype and the picture. So I had to change. I will try to make a nice new light weight graphic up there.. If I really have time I will try to bring my +160 posts down in fewer categories and add some more clear ones.

Other good news, I have a slight chance that I might be testdriving the 20D for you when it gets there. I get quite some merits for writing in an accessible way about the camera's, lenses and it's experiences. I will never compete with a dpreview.com but maybe I can give you that more easier to read amateur view on the subject. Philips started it's worldwide new campagne and payoff: sense and simplicity: Well that is what I have given customers and users in the past few years as user experience consultant.

So, I will keep trying to get you aboard with new experiences and articles.
